After getting post graduate degree from University of Mysore,in Jan 1985, proceeded Mumbai to train in GI Surgery and Endoscopy under renowned,Dr. V.N. Shrikhande for one year. Has worked as a faculty in the dept. of Surgery, JSS Medical College Mysore, from Dec. 1985. Was head of department of surgery and head of Endoscopy at JSS Medical college Hospital, which he started in 1986. Guide d many PG students and both UG and PG examiner at various Universities.
