I've graduated from Calcutta Medical College in 1974(Exam of June 1972 term)-- did my MS in General Surgery in 1978 from Calcutta University. I joined West Bengal Health Service in 1977 as Medical Officer in the dept of Surgery in JNM Hospital, Kalyani. I was Registrar, Dept of Surgery, in Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital from 1980 April to 1984 March & then worked as Surgeon In Berhampore District Hospital from 1984April to 1996June & in JNM Hospital, Kalyani, from June 1996 to Sept 1999.
