Although I was a general radiologist all my life, I have confined my work to diagnosing breast cancer since 2006. I am the chief breast imager at St. John Breast Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. I helped set up and run the Breast Center. We perform about 30,000 mammograms a year, as well as breast sonograms and MRIs. Our average of about 4 to 6 needle biopsies a day include mainly vacuum-assisted needle biopsies using stereotactic guidance, sonography and MRI. We also perform Trucut needle biopsies and FNA.
