Angry at the spate of their demands and the states inability to address their issue, more than 10,000 government doctors of Jaipur posted under medical directorate and deployed in district hospitals, community health centres and primary health centres of the state have threatened the state government of mass resignation. As the state government is not taking any action on the 33 demands pending for a long time, the Govt doctors have threaten for mass resignation. Some of the demands made by in-service doctor include increase in rural allowance, hazardous services allowance, government hospitals should function in one shift, and all doctors should not come under panchayati raj in rural areas.
