A 28-year-old man died at a private treatment facility in Kodungaiyur, Chennai, where he had been admitted by his family for treatment of alcohol addiction. The man, who had reportedly been receiving care at the facility for approximately a week, experienced a deterioration in his condition during his stay.According to police, a staff member administered an injection on Sunday, following which the patient collapsed. His relatives subsequently took him to a private hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
