53 year old lady came with c/o progressive pain, sweling and redness right side of face for the past 1 week. She tells that it happened as a part of allergic reaction to a golden earing she wore few days ago. There is h/o purulent discharge from Rt ear 2 days ago. No h/o fever.
P/H/O B/L CSOM evidenced by purulent discharge both ears from childhood.No h/o previous surgeries on ear. On examination there is diffuse swelling , redness , warmth and tenderness Rt side of face .tenderness extended to the sub mandibular region.Ear lobe and EAC normal. 2 openings were found in the post auricular region , one on each side . Explain the condition ?
