A 45-year-old woman presented with complaints of changes in her menstrual cycle along with hot flashes and vaginal dryness . Her menstrual cycles have changed over the last 9 months, with cycles ranging from 20 to 60 days and light vaginal bleeding between the last two cycles. Moreover, she took an oral contraceptive to regulate bleeding and reduce hot flashes.

As per her statement, oral contraceptives were well tolerated in the past, and she had a tubal ligation at 35 years of age. Her lipid levels and blood pressure were normal.
