I feel that basic need of India is a good MBBS doctor, a good general practitioner and not the specialist or the super specialist. Our large population is going to quacks and is unable to get proper advice. Our MBBS doctor should be able to manage common diseases effectively, write a simple prescription, do the common procedures properly, with a pleasant and sympathetic behaviour and referring suitable cases to specialists.
In the present scenario, the quacks are doing the job of MBBS, and specialists are working like MBBS. A good MBBS doctor can render invaluable service to the country. Share your insights.
