A 40-year-old male, a shopkeeper by profession, presented with the complaints of pain and a mass in the right side of the chest cage. He noticed the mass around 20 days back in the right lower part of the back of the chest with a gradual increase in size. He also had the associated complaints of cough, sputum, fever with chills, pleuritic chest pain, and dyspnea. He also complained of loss of appetite with a 7 kg weight loss in the last 20 days. Past history: Smoker, has been smoking 3-4 cigarettes/day for 15 years. History of opium addiction (oral and inhalational).

No history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, surgery, respiratory infections, and blood transfusions was reported.
