Hello Colleagues, I am treating a patient since a quite long, she walked in my clinic yesterday stating loss of appetite and dark coloured Urine. The patient was diagnosed with TB. During the first trimester when 4 drug therapy was started she experienced pain in lower back and knee joints. However gradually the pain decreased, but now when second trimester is started the patient complaints about loss in appetite and dark colour urine.
Age of patient is 48 years, and has experienced loss in body weight by 2 kgs since the diagnosis. My question is is this ADR of drugs used the therapy or poor immune system of patient or any further tests are required?
