A child of 4years is suffering from congenital alternate hemiplegia of childhood since birth. . Its a very very rare disease sometimes progressing to severe degree of mental retardation. I request neurologists or pediatricians of our group to discuss this problem and inform of any new advanced treatment. Presently child is on sibelium and gardenol .
repeated respiratory infections prevent the child from gaining weight. Child is not walking or talking as a 4yr child would do. But he is alert and picks up some sporadic words and tries to walk with spport. Physio and occupational therapy continues .Hope I find some answers from experts.
