A 30-year-old man was arrested by Delhi Police on Friday at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Hospital authorities said that he was imitating as a doctor. The authorities further stated that this man claimed to be a doctor working at AIIMS and used to bring patients from his area for treatment. One of the doctors at AIIMS suspected him while he was checking the patients with a stethoscope in the emergency ward of AIIMS. He told his senior doctor about this person.

After making an inquiry, it was found that he was trying to get patients admitted to the hospital. AIIMS said that this person had introduced himself as a doctor on a number of occasions earlier. When he was asked why he had conned patients and if he had the actual medical knowledge, he said that he was not a medical doctor but a yoga graduate from a National Institute of Yoga.
