Health Services in India: Solutions for better outcome The IMA is concerned about the contents of a chapter “Role of government in health” published by NCERT for the class VII students in social and political life section of social science subject. Rarely does a chapter in school gets the attention of the society, especially the doctors and the media. I had got the messages on whatsapp related to the parts of the content, which enraged me too. The IMA being the guardian of Doctors requested Indian government to delete the chapter.
Then even the authors submitted a memorandum asking the government not to listen to IMA. So this is what made me study the chapter in total which I guess many doctors would not have but reacted to what was fed to them, a part story which is true but not complete.
