I have been reading a lot on Docplexus lately, with the literature and response it made me ask my doubts here. Does the use of antibiotics in early childhood increase the risk of diseases? I recently came across discussions with my colleagues and printed media regarding use of antibiotics and its effect on children.
Being a paediatrician I am eager to know the adverse effects. I have read about allergic reactions and asthma, are there any research study conducted for them same? If this is already proved, which combinations should be eliminated and what dose should be given?
