I felt moved and helpless when I read the handwritten suicide letter of a budding doctor of a Medical college. The student who work hard, spend a lot of money for coaching and clear NEET examination and then enter into a medical college. There are lots of dreams, aspiration and a desire to fulfill the dream of their parents and make a place in this world. The era bygone I entered into the medical college by self study and did not have to attend coaching,tuitions etc.
The tuition fee of My medical college Jhansi was 450 Rs / per annum and I got 50% concession by declaring that I belong to a middle class family and on the basis of my CBSE XII marks only. Hostel fee too was 450 Rs/per annum. The only payment that I had to make was mess charges 150 Rs a month.
