Hi dear colleagues I feel that it is the high time to have a discussion by a national level body on the issues of assaults on doctors, with branches in the state. I am already aware that IMA has several kind of bodies, but in the present scenario, a body that can take care of legal and social issues, advice and needs of doctors regarding the assault on them, is highly needed.
What is the opinion of my seniors on assembly of such body? Is it not necessary in this era of increasing violence against doctors?
