3 months old female child presented with tiny whitish cystic lesion at urethra and c/o crying while passing urine. Child was active, afebrile, feeding and gaining weight well. Urine culture grew klebsiella >one lac CFU. Based on sensitivity report child was started on oflox which mother stopped after 6 days because baby was not taking it easily.

USG/BUN/S.creat were normal. Was I wrong in starting antibiotic as this would count as asymptomatic bacteriuria? Is prophylaxis/MCUG warranted?
