According to the National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), more than 1200 ayurvedic doctors can prescribe modern medicine. However, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has taken a stand to resist the crosspathy at any cost. IMA national president and secretary general have officially stated that Maharashtra government should cease the decision to appoint BAMS doctors in health and wellness centres . How this tug of war has started between IMA and NIMA: IMA totally disagreed to the decision of the government and replied that Crosspathy is not good for the health and wellness of the people.
