The case concerned a pregnant patient who sought medical care after experiencing unbearable abdominal pain and absence of fetal movement. According to the complaint, the doctor did not conduct a fresh physical examination and instead relied on an earlier ultrasound report before concluding that her condition was normal.

When the patient returned on October 6, 2013, reportedly still experiencing severe pain, she was allegedly dismissed without appropriate treatment.
