Mrs. K. S. delivered a live healthy baby 4 weeks back. She visits  her Obstretician after 4 Weeks with complaints of bilateral nipple pain during & after breast feeding a problem troubling her for the last 5 days.She was  advised to use miconozole cream, 2 percent to the nipples after each feed.

There was realief initially  but  symptoms returned after a few days. This time obst. Prescribed her fluconazole 200 mg daily for 14 days with ampicillin 500mgbd for 5 days. Comment on the prescription .
