We do see ocular manifestations of hyperlipidemia in patients, who have high triglycerides and cholesterol. The common manifestations are: Xanthoma and xanthelasma   Pinguecula  Lipid keratopathy in the form of atheromatous  Corneal degeneration  lipaemia retinals  When we see fat like globules running along retinal vessels on ophthalmoscopy, retinal xanthoma in an adult like coats' disease.
