21 cases of superficial bladder CA ( Age gp 54-82 yrs) sex distribution – 20 male and 1 female . All these patients were considered for intravesical chemotherapy . TURBT performed in those having papillary growth/polyp/local mass. 11 Patients were given thiotepa locally (Dose 30-60ml saline for 2 hrs every wk x 4 wks then Monthly . 10 patients Subjected to BCG therapy (dose 120 mg / 50 ml saline for 2 hrs every wk x 6 wk ). Some time BCG intradermal injection also given wkly x 6 wks.
Check cystoscopy performed at end of therapy and 3 monthly interval in follow up. Out of 11 patients treated with thiotepa therapy, 4 patients (36%) became tumor free at 1 year observation.
