As a pathologist, currently, i am the in-charge of a busy pathology laboratory and blood bank attached to the hospital. Daily quality control and quality assurance are done by different methods both in the laboratory and in the blood bank . Day to day works and reports are up to satisfaction, both for me and for my clinician colleagues. But the problem is whenever a quality audit for some accreditations or blood visit by the government is done i face many problems.
They always want calibration certificates by some authorized third party.
