A new survey showed that changing lifestyle has exposed women to the higher risk of cardiovascular diseases, shattering the popular idea that oestrogen hormone protects them from such ailments. For long it is popularly believed that oestrogen has some kind of antagonist effect on the progression of cardiovascular diseases in women.
