I recently heard that a patient's blood group changed after he donated his blood to 6-7 other patients. This was observed when he fell ill and needed a  blood transfusion. The change in his blood group was confirmed with 4 different pathology labs.

Can it happen? If yes, how? Can anyone please explain?
