Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a debilitating disorder characterized by extreme fatigue or tiredness, and can’t be explained by an underlying medical condition. 12th May is celebrated as CFS day to spread awareness and promote a better understanding of the impact of CFS on patient life. The recommendations in this guideline emphasise the importance of early symptom management, accurate diagnosis, significant clinical features investigation, and working in partnership with patients with CFS/ME to manage the condition.
