Introduction Road traffic accidents (RTAs) continue to be a major public health concern in India, claiming over 2.5 lakh lives annually. Alarmingly, 30–40% of these deaths are attributed to medical negligence and delays in providing timely care. Many medical professionals remain uncertain about their roles and responsibilities in medicolegal cases, leading to hesitation in offering immediate assistance.
