Government is planning for the creation of an Indian Medical Service on lines of Indian Administrative Service and Indian Police Service. It's not a new proposal, into three decades ago this proposal into existence but it was not approved. My opinion is it will give the good feel to doctors provided, all perks and facilities of IAS and IPS were also given.
