I recently got dexascan done for my patient. The report is attached herewith. The radiologist has reported as normal. The report shows  'T' score  left as -2.4 and right as -2.1 and mean as -2.3 . I am a general practioner . As I understand it falls under osteopenia . I may be wrong in my interpretation .

May colleagues can throw some light in this regard. 'T'  Scores of +1.0 are good. Numbers between +1 and - 1 show normal bone mineral density Scores between -1 and -2.5 indicate Osteopenia (thin bones). Less than -2.5 indicate Osteoporosis (porous bones) ,  2.7, -3.0 etc. And -3.0 shows  serious Osteoporosis.
