COVID-19 can be challenging for patients with comorbidities such as hypertension, obesity, and diabetes. Diabetes with a high global prevalence of around 9.3% has been shown to intensify the outcomes in COVID-19 infected patients due to poor glycemic control. Also, the use of common therapeutics such as ACEIs and ARBs in SARS-CoV-2 infected patients is questionable. Therefore, effective management with a sound knowledge of the latest guidelines is crucial in COVID-19 infected patients with diabetes.

In this regard, Docplexus has organized a webinar as part of CME , in collaboration with M.S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre, discussing the topic “Diabetes: Latest Guidelines and Impact of COVID-19” on 5 th June 2021, from 2:00 PM onwards. Details -   Stay tuned!
