Highlights: ·       Globally, an associated diabetes eye disease is the fifth most common cause of moderate-to-severe vision loss and blindness.1,2 ·       Diabetic retinopathy has been increased the disease burden in diabetic patients. Recent improvements in the identification, assessment, and treatment of diabetic retinopathy are helping to decrease the overall vision burden in diabetic patients.3 This infographic provides insights on recent advances in retinal imaging and the development of newer therapies in the management of diabetic retinopathy.
