Case presentation A 46-year-old female presented to the emergency department of a hospital with a complaint of abdominal pain. The patient had COVID-19 pneumonia and was recovering from it. Medical history The patient had a medical history of Wegener's granulomatosis status post-Rituxan and thromboembolism of port site status post-rivaroxaban for six months. She was also suffering from hypertension. Radiographic examination A computed tomography (CT) scan of the abdomen and pelvis with contrast dye was performed.

(Cover image) Treatment The physical findings were normal except for the generalized abdominal discomfort without distention. The patient was treated with intravenous anticoagulation for a week and later put on oral anticoagulants.
