Nuclear medicine is a branch of radiology that provides key diagnostic information using radioactive tracers or radiopharmaceuticals to assess bodily functions for diagnosing and treating various clinical conditions. With advancements in nuclear medicine such as PET and SPECT, several potentially life-threatening diseases can be diagnosed early.
