We would like IMA office bearers to look into the following merits of DNB course over MD/MS: Entry to DNB courses is purely merit-based and no management quota to join DNB course by spending crores of money. Training in DNB is uniform and standardized based on NBE curriculum, while the rules and regulations in MD/MS programmes differ from University to University. Only about 39% of MD/MS pass outs clear the high standard and transparent DNB final examination in the concerned speciality. The transparent exit exam is ensured by the lack of internal examiners and allotment of practical examination centre outside the state.
