It is most gratifying and appreciable that some reputable doctors of Bikaner,Rajasthan have adopted 40 poor girls under the Doctors for Daughters scheme of Street to School programme.The doctors will have to pay for the school fees whether govt of private,school uniform,stationery and have to ,look after their health.These girls are drop outs from school and became ra pickers.The District Collector Arti Dogra had initiated Street to School Programme in 2013 and she herself adopted one girl.This is part of Prime Minister's Bet Bacho and Beti Padao programme.
