Doctors have a very busy life caring for their patients, meeting corporate targets, and long work hours. This stress finally gets to them in few years and a recently published survey on Indian doctors has stated that 50% doctors may be at risk of cardiovascular diseases. It means that doctors are at even higher risk of developing heart problems as compared to any normal individual. It is therefore recommended that doctors maintain a healthy work-life balance, get enough sleep and have some avenues to release stress.
