With due respect to judicial system of our country, I would like to ask you like every service provider are liable to be accountable, why only doctors comes under CPA 1986? Why can't we drag a lawyer or a judge under the same CPA for gross negligence in some cases where the innocent victims get sentence either for improper presentations or malafide intention of either lawyers or judges in lower courts. Ref Mr Markende Katju Ex CJI has expressed his opinion recently in social media regarding bringing the lawyers under CPA for charging exuberant fees evrytime they appear without any recept of payment and failed to provide justice for improper presentations of cases.
What is your opinion sir ? Can any one suggest or initiate a PIL at SC on behalf of all medical fraternity for equal justice? If not ,please tell us is it still justified to keep continue the CPA against doctors only?
