AIIMS and JIPMER has collaborated with an Australian university for healthcare promotion in both countries. Focus points of collaboration were faculty and student exchange programs, delivering opportunities for research and knowledge exchange through webinars.

Areas to be stressed upon were head and neck radiation oncology, psychiatry and molecular medicine .
