CDC has launched a Vision and Eye Health Surveillance System (VEHSS) in collaboration with the National Opinion Research Centre. The system is designed for searching the site of information, analyzing data and providing prevalence data about eye conditions and diseases, at state and national level.

It enables the scope of vision loss, eye disorders, and eye care services in the country.
