Doctors are so much manhandled, insulted, beaten by public almost all over the India both in Government and Pvt sectors. By junior doctors, residents who are mostly victims raised voice by nation wide strike and no work with support of senior doctors, paramedical staffs across many states irrespective of political color which gained public and press sympathy which prompted our PM to say in public to take care of Doctors by a good law and ex President too advocated for the same. A Bill was drafted to penalise those assaulting doctors and other healthcare professionals with imprisonment of up to 10 years and fine of Rs 2-10 lakh.
