A 15-year-old girl presents with altered behavior, agitation, hallucinations, headache, and insomnia. The symptoms further deteriorate showing heterogenicity in the clinical presentation. Incoherent and inappropriate speech.
Physical Examination Afebrile, disorientated and emotionally labile. Expressive dysphasia. Poor short-term memory with low scores on the ‘Mini-mental state examination’. No focal neurological deficits and systemic examination were unremarkable. Investigations Electroencephalogram (EEG) showed no specific abnormalities.
