Aim and Objectives: To assess the effectiveness of oral health intervention (OHI) in the form of video and model demonstration on the oral health knowledge and oral hygiene status of 6-14 years old intellectually disabled children in Pune city, India. Methodology: A 6-week randomised control trial was conducted among 100 intellectually disabled children aged 6-14 years who were randomly allocated in two groups based on the mode of intervention namely, Group I (n =50) receiving OHI in the form of video demonstration and Group II (n = 50) receiving OHI in form of oral health talk(OHT) along with model demonstration at baseline, 2 week and 4-week interval.
