Synopsis A clinical study demonstrates that cerclage plus vaginal progesterone in women with extremely shortened cervix significantly decreased overall spontaneous preterm birth rates, prolonged pregnancy latency by 2-fold, and decreased the overall neonatal morbidity and mortality.
