A 58 year old male was detected with a 32 mm semi-flat colonic polyp which was resected and histology revealed a tubulovillous adenoma. Eight months later during surveillance colonoscopy, it revealed a 7 mm polyp at the tattoo site which was removed by hot snare. The histology revealed adenoma with low grade dysplasia. After an year, during surveillance colonoscopy again a 5 mm polyp was detected which was completely removed by hot snare.
This video shows a means of performing endoscopic full thickness resection of this recurrent colonic (hepatic flexure) polyp with subsequent laparoscopy to securely close the defect.
