A 32 years lady consulted me recently for a change in her memory. Previous history of getting treatment for epilepsy with drugs and had a CT Scan with MRI screening done some three years ago. The scan finding was, there is a lesion in the right frontal region and no information on this finding as told by a Senior most consultant Neurologist of the place available as well as reports except the films. She was repeated with MRI Scan of the Brain which is shown here.
It shows possible AV malformation which needs defining by doing angiography. Since she is not in a position to spend further she is explained about the reason for her memory changes and the need to undergo angiography followed by embolization of the AV malformation at the earliest to prevent deterioration of memory.
