Hyperbaric medicine is a conceptualized treatment modality of utilizing 100% Oxygen at atmospheric pressures greater than sea level, i.e., greater than 1 ATA . The patient is either placed in a mono-place or multi-place pressurized chamber where they inhale oxygen at ~2 to 3 ATA for the required amount of time in multiple sessions.
