I never knew that one day i will become a medical consultant. When we start our career after finishing studies we realise that whatever theory we have mugged up is of no use in your day to day practice, which is more humanity oriented than science. So how a PG student can learn the art of practice? Just copying his seniors or teachers whom he likes most. The role model may not be practicing ideals in medicine, which are like stars that could never be reached.
My suggestion to all those residents is that apart from learning medicine, they should try to make trustworthy relationships with some of your patients as a trial and error method, because you are in a protected environment.
