A 32-year-old female presented with symptoms of "Cushing's syndrome" for one and a half years. After she stopped nursing her fifth baby, her menses did not resume. Her medical history included PCOS. She also developed facial hair and acne around a year back and developed back pain which was attributed to the compression of the lumbar spine. Her local physician had diagnosed her with "Cushing's disease." Cushing's syndrome, a rare medical condition, is caused due to the overproduction of cortisol from the adrenal glands.

Tumors of adrenal glands, pituitary, lungs, etc., can cause this rare condition. Reference Shaver D. Case report: Patient presenting with Cushing’s disease. Surgical Neurology International. 2015;6(Suppl 6): S268-S270.
