Maharashtra government has decided to formulate new policy and guidelines for dialysis centers in response to the ever increasing complaints received from patients. Addressing various complaints filed by patients about lack of availability of basic parameters and careless handling of the patients at the dialysis centers, Maharashtra government has decided to formulate a new guideline policy for dialysis centers. All the dialysis centers are expected to strictly adhere to these guidelines.
This new policy is expected to be formulated and implemented by the Maharashtra government sometime within the next three months. The main highlight of this policy is the restriction in the number of dialysis sessions conducted per day at any dialysis center to three per day.
