To understand health concerns of the people in the state, the Haryana health department has come up with a unique initiative that every patient at government above 30 years in age should be checked for blood pressure. This blood pressure check, which started from 26th October 2017, will be conducted for a month till 25th November 2017. The health department mandated blood pressure checkup for every patient > 30 years of age at government hospitals in all 22 districts of Haryana, irrespective of what ailments they suffer from. Each hospital will have to compile a daily report and send it to the health department during this period.
